Line Markings
During September 2006 AGS were awarded a contract to repaint safety critical platform line markings for Metronet Rail.
We were asked to create a planned maintenance schedule for all stations covered by Metronet, in conjunction with an emergency reactive team to attend faults.
In addition we conducted a survey on the condition of staircases and cross hatching to platforms in areas of heavy traffic and a programme was rolled out!
In conjunction with Metronet, and various paint manufacturers, AGS have developed an environmentally friendly, approved paint system for line marking application. For the development of the product AGS were awarded a 'good practice' by Metronet for positive impact on environment and reducing the risks posed to operatives.
AGS have also undertaken line marking works for clients including Tubelines, London Underground, Network Rail, Balfour Beatty Rail and Silverlink offering full package solutions to any line marking problems.
